4th Grade Documentary Assignment
Autobiography (Your Life)                  NAME____________________

You will author a multimedia documentary published in iMovie on the Apple laptops. Each project will incorporate text, illustrations, photographs, audio and video. These documentary projects will be ≥movies≈ of your life. You will learn the basics of iMovie and then bring the above items from home or use items from school to put together a creative autobiography put together in movie form. Your project should be original, well-thought-out, and meaningful to you. You will need help from your parent(s) because you will need to choose photographs and other memorabilia (paper items such as award certificates, kindergarten drawings, etc.) that you can bring to school. These items will be scanned and downloaded to your files so that you can retrieve them when you are making the iMovie.  I will send home manila envelopes for you to put you items in to bring to school and as soon as we are finished with your items they will be returned for you to take back home.

Before you begin producing your iMovie you will need to hand a ≥paper copy≈ in to me along with the audio and song you have chosen. Once your ≥paper copy≈ is OK≠ed you will be ready to begin production.

When our projects are finished, we will present them to our families on
≥Family Night≈, which is scheduled for the second week in May.
Good luck and have fun!!!
