task to find information about a famous Nebraskan for a speech he
is giving in a week. |

must select a person who would be of interest to his
audience. You will have a datasheet on which to take notes given
to you by the head governor's aide. Next, you must prepare a
Power Point presentation for him when he goes to the National
Governor's
Conference. |

find interesting. After you answer the questions on your
datasheet about each person, you can produce a Power Point for the
governor. Remember to make your Power Point interesting to the
audience of other governors. The head governor's aide (your
teacher) may decide that you are to do a different project with your
information. Other possibilities for using your information are
creating a brochure, a poster, or prepare a written speech about the
famous person you researched.
