Classroom Behavior Rules

                                                            Stressed Out:

THE STUDENTS WILL:

Practice Self Control:

     1.  By keeping hands, feet, and other objects to themselves.

     2.  By raising hand for permission to speak.

     3.  By sitting on chairs properly.

     4.  By using whispering voices in groups.

     5.  By walking inside the building.

ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY:

     1.  By working independently during work time.

     2.  By working without disturbing others.

     3.  By completeing work.

     4.  By following directions.

     5.  By putting materials away promptly. 

IF YOU CHOOSE TO BREAK A RULE

FIRST TIME:  Name on Board (Warning)

SECOND TIME:  One check (Miss the next recess or 15 minutes of noon recess)

THIRD TIME:  Two checks (Student calls parent plus--15 minutes after school that day)

FOURTH TIME: Three checks (Student makes call to parent plus 30 minutes after school that day)

SUDDEN CLASSROOM DISRUPTION:  Sent to the office for the remainder of the period.  Teacher, student, and principal decide together on the discipline.

All names and checks will be erased each morning to begin the new day.
