Hello!  I'm the new art teacher for Cambridge Public School.  I was a graduate of McCook High so it is great to be back in my home town area!  I'm excited for the new year and can't wait for all the fun things we are going to do to begin.

I went to college at UNO on a track and cross country scholarship and got a bachelors degree in elementary education there.
After marrying and having children, I went back to college as a graduate student at UNL and got my degree in K-12 Art.  I loved all the learning opportunities that were presented to me and found that I love to explore all the art arenas.  I take those into my classroom up to this day.

I first taught K-12 Art at Parkview Christian School in Lincoln.  I taught there for 8 years then moved to Pender, Nebraska and taught 6th grade my first year and K-12 Art my last two years.

I'm happy to be in Cambridge for a new adventure in teaching art.
