Coins That Count
Monday will be our last day to bring in money for the Katrina Hurricane Fund. The children have done a great job bringing in coins. There will be a contest to see who can guess how much money we have raised. The class with the winner will receive a candy bar for every student.
Reading
Next week we will be reading TIME for Kids „Champions of the World‰. In this story Chris Cordone tells about the day he will never forget. Chris took the place of another Little League player and hit a homerun. His Toms River, New Jersey, team one the Little League World Series.
Spelling

Math
This week in math we learned about place value to the ten and hundred thousands. We also worked on reading a graph. Everyone is do well on there timed math test. Please keep practicing. We will be having a math test next week. Please study with your child. I have sent a note attached to this one with the things that your child will need to know for the test.
